A good assistant editor needs to understand postproduction workflows. This is especially the case for long-form work as there are so many different aspects to the job. This one-day workshop takes you through some of the different workflows for long-form editing. In particular, we will take a closer look at how you might work on a film or documentary.

This class is designed for assistant editors or editors
Prerequisites:
Prospective students should have taken our MC 101: Media Composer Fundamentals I and Avid Assistant Editor Workshop or have equivalent knowledge of the content of these classes prior to taking this workshop
Each student gets their own workstation.
