New York, New York – December 19, 2013 – Manhattan Edit Workshop (MEWShop), the cutting-edge authorized digital training destination for post-production and content creators, is excited to announce new classes being offered in 2014. MEWShop will offer new classes in all Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere Pro CC, Photoshop CC, After Effects CC, InDesign CC and Dreamweaver CC. Students will learn how to integrate Creative Cloud into their current Adobe workflow as well as how to maximize the potential of the powerful new cloud-based system. Also new for 2014, discover MEWShop’s DaVinci Resolve 10 class. Sharpen your color-grading skills and strategies with three Resolve 10 courses taught by ICA co-founder and instructor Warren Eagles. Beginners will lay the foundation for Resolve 10 in the Introduction to Colorist Strategies, while those with more experience will further their skills in the advanced course. Also available is the one-day workshop, Warren’s Looks with Resolve, which will provide students with great insight into how famous looks and styles are created.
Attend MEWShop’s new Media Composer 7 courses and dive deep into the legendary NLE’s editing features and advanced effects capabilities. Acclaimed author and film historian Bobbie O’Steen teams up with MEWShop for the brand new film analysis course, “Making the Cut.” Using material from O’Steen’s popular books (Cut to the Chase, The Invisible Cut) and her Inside the Cutting Room event series, students will explore the editor’s endgame decisions from inside the cutting room. O’Steen will help students understand the art and technique of master editors through classic film scenes, enabling students to apply the techniques to their own work. Deconstruct and learn from the stylistic decisions behind popular films such as The Graduate, 12 Angry Men and Rosemary’s Baby.
