The Artist-in-Residence Program is a core component of Manhattan Edit Workshop's Six Week Art of Editing Course. Top film editors join the class to screen and discuss their work, while students share their edits for comments and critique.

Ken Eluto, ACE, a flim editor for over 20 years, has worked on dramatice films, comedy shows and documentaries. Most recently, he has been an editor for 30 Rock, for which he won an ACE Eddie and an Emmy Award for editing. His work includes many TV series produced by Barry Levinson and Tom Fontana including Homicide: Life on the Street, OZ and the HBO Film Shot in the Heart directed by Agnieszka Holland. Ken won an Emmy for his work on the documentary Long Journey Home: The Irish in America and was nominated for an Emmy for his work on the Academy Award nominated documentary The Battle Over Citizen Kane.
