Managing and Troubleshooting Avid: Level II
This one-day class is designed for those who wish to deepen their technical management and troubleshooting knowledge of Avid Media Composer/Symphony.

Instructor Stephen Mortell has been freelancing for 20 years in the broadcast and film industry, creating and supporting technical workflows for award-winning films and televisions shows. He previously was the Field Support Engineer for all of Avid's enterprise customers in NYC. Prior to that he was the Technical Account Manager (NBC) for Avid Technology and managed Avid technical support for NBC Universal both remotely and on-site. He also supported all of the other East Coast NBC sites, from CNBC in New Jersey to Telemundo in Miami. Some of his other experience includes Goldcrest Films as Senior Engineer and provided support and workflow for three MTV reality shows as well as held the position of Technical Operations Manager at Hula Post. Stephen has a unique set of skills in that he not only possess a wealth of technical knowledge, he also held a staff editor position for many years. That position gave him operational as well as a creative perspective of post workflow. His current certifications include Avid ACSR Elite - Avid WG’s/Avid MediaCentral/MAM.
