Media Composer 6 Professional Picture and Sound Editing - $1,295

 

This two-day course is designed for the experienced Avid Media Composer or Symphony editors to gain greater productivity by mastering the system's sophisticated editing features and tools. Students learn things like workspace management and project organization, along with advanced toolsets including MultiCamera, ScriptSync, and Marquee. In addition the course gives students a primer on audio mix theory and covers some fundamental Media Composer audio sweetening tools and techniques. Sessions include instructor-led demonstration and hands-on practice.
Prerequisites:

Completion of the MC 101 (Part 1) Editing Essentials with Avid Media Composer 6 & MC 110 (Part 2) Effects Essentials with Media Composer 6 or the equivalent of 12 months’ experience editing on the system is required. A background as editor, assistant editor, director, or producer is necessary.

Three-Day intensives are from 10am-6pm.
