The Six Week Intensive in the art and technique of editing, is a comprehensive jump-start for anyone serious about a career in post-production. Whether just starting out, changing your career or pursuing your own creative goals - the Six Week Intensive will help you to develop the practical tools and foundation you need as a visual artist.
The course consists of foundational training in the top industry video editing programs - Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve. In addition, we devote time each day to film theory; covering the history & evolution of editing techniques, as well as the aesthetics of narrative, short-form, comedy and documentary. DSLR Fundamentals + Premiere Pro 101
Five-days - $1,694
During the initial two days of this five-day course, participants will delve into fundamental Digital Video concepts, receive demonstrations on camera components, and engage in hands-on shooting activities. This segment aims to impart the basic principles and practical skills required for operating a Digital camera in video production, along with techniques and strategies for achieving high-quality video output. Subsequently, students will explore Adobe Premiere Pro software for efficient post-production video editing. They will gain proficiency in editing videos according to their preferences, as well as batch encoding them for various delivery formats. Upon completion of the course, participants will possess the foundational skills necessary to leverage Adobe Premiere Pro's functionalities effectively.
Two days of production, three-days of editing with Premiere Pro. Class runs Monday thru Friday from 10am - 6pm (with an hour break for lunch).

Premiere Pro 201 + Color in Premiere Pro + Audition 101
Five-days - $2,685
As students advance in their use of Premiere Pro, this advanced class is tailored for those aiming to elevate their editing skills to the next level. The curriculum covers various aspects including interface navigation, tool utilization, feature exploration, and production flow optimization. Through a blend of instructor-led demonstrations and hands-on practice, participants will gain proficiency in utilizing Premiere Pro's real-time video and audio editing tools for precise control over their productions.
Midweek, the focus shifts to color correction within Premiere Pro. This session delves into the capabilities of the Lumetri Color Panel, empowering students to make both quick and advanced color adjustments to their videos. Topics covered include white balancing, color grading, secondary color alterations, and the creation of creative vignettes.
Wrapping up the week, we offer a two-day Audition class aimed at enhancing students' audio post-production skills. This segment provides essential tools for recording, editing, mixing, and soundtrack creation. With a new high-performance audio playback engine, users can expedite operations and handle multiple files simultaneously. The seamless integration with Premiere Pro ensures smooth video production workflows and fosters collaborative editing across platforms.

Media Composer 101 + MEDia Composer 110
Five-days - $1,995
This five-day course bundle merges MC 101: Media Composer Fundamentals I and MC 110: Media Composer Fundamentals II, forming the groundwork for the Media Composer User Certification Exam.
Initially, you'll delve into interface navigation and basic editing techniques, progressing to trimming, fine-tuning edits, audio adjustments, multi-camera editing, transition and title additions, and project output. The training emphasizes hands-on learning with project-based lessons, tackling real-world projects spanning from extreme sports to documentary footage.
Once acquainted with editing tools, you'll explore creating effects within Avid Media Composer. Topics include navigating the effects-building interface, fundamental audio adjustments and effects, multilayered video compositing, tracking, stabilization, various retiming methods, and basic color-grading techniques.
